Romana Vrede is actrice en theatermaker. In 2016 maakte ze de voorstelling Who’s afraid of Charlie Stevens over haar verstandelijk beperkte en autistische zoon.
In 2017 won ze de Theo d’Or voor haar hoofdrol in de voorstelling Race van Het Nationale Toneel.
